If you’re looking for a new camping blanket, the Kachula might be just what you need.
This soft, comfortable blanket keeps you warm on chilly nights, & every time you hear the word kachula you can’t help but think of a kangaroo.
But does it really live up to the hype?
In this review, we’ll take a closer look at the Kachula blanket and see how it stacks up against the competition.
Back To Basics
Let’s start off with the basics.
The Kachula is a down blanket that weighs just under 2 pounds. It’s available in two sizes – regular (80″ x 60″) and large (90″ x 90″).
The blanket is made from soft brushed nylon flannel & durable ripstop nylon.
It has a DWR (durable water-repellent) finish, which means it will repel water and stains.
So say goodbye to crying after misguiding that sip of strawberry Fanta into those cherry lips.
The Kachula also has a few handy features, like a built-in stuff sack and an integrated loop system that lets you attach it to your sleeping bag or camping gear.
Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s take a closer look at the performance of the Kachula blanket.
Kachula-Like Performance
First and foremost, the Kachula is incredibly comfortable.
It’s like cuddling a polar bear.
The soft fabric and lofty down filling make it a pleasure to use, whether you’re camping out in the wilderness or just snuggling on the couch with the boys.
The blanket also has mad warmth, thanks to the high-quality down filling.
We’ve used it on a few chilly nights and can attest to its ability to keep you cozy like a fresh-lit winter fire.
BUT, one of our favorite features of the Kachula is the integrated loop system, which lets you easily attach it to your sleeping bag or camping gear.
The only downside to the Kachula is that it’s not as compressible as some of the other camping blankets on the market, due to the down filling, which takes up more space than synthetic fill.
However, the Kachula is overall a big win in our book.
Wait, we have a book?
I thought this was an article.
